You are only confined by the walls you build yourself.

As much as I love teaching, I’ve never quite found my groove when it comes to writing. There truly is an art to finding the right words without the benefit of non-verbal cues. I’m not sure I’ll ever figure it out, but it seems like the longer I put it off, the tougher it gets to find the right words. Hopefully a “blog” format will make it a little easier to have conversations, discussions, and even disagreements, in order to continue learning from each other and growing as individuals. I want to use this space to start conversations and welcome feedback, but in order to maintain integrity in the information being shared through a training site, responses will be limited to respectful, and factual discussions.

This blog will be a combination of short, bite-sized, pieces to encourage critical thinking and self evaluation, long-winded discussions driven towards deeper understanding, life lessons learned (usually the hard way), along with some inspirational thoughts and polls to gather information and better understand each other. Change is uncomfortable and I'm sure there will be plenty of difficult conversations as we address some outdated, misguided, and outright inaccurate information commonly accepted and still being taught in regards to personal safety.

My goal as a "coach" is not to convince anyone to do things my way, but to provide the information and skill set needed to make your own educated decisions about what is right for you and your own life. Personal Safety is not a simple black & white concept, life is fluid, ever-changing, and often situations fall very much into a gray area once all details are taken into consideration. Critical thinking skills are a necessary part of every safety plan, and we can build those skills as we dig through multiple concepts, scientific studies, thought processes, and the potential consequences of each.

That's a great quote. I completely relate to it. You should not limit yourself, and always try yourself in something new. I recently tried myself in the field of design, and I really liked it. Of course, I faced some difficulties, but thanks to strawberry boba pictures , I was able to create amazing advertising visuals. I definitely recommend this resource for both beginners and professionals.
